Our Interior Design Process

A successful interior involves much more than choosing beautiful colours and furniture. The layout, lighting, materials, bespoke joinery and furnishings all need to work together and suit the way you live.

Every project is therefore developed step by step. We begin with your wishes and ideas and gradually turn them into a complete and carefully considered design. This provides clarity before the renovation begins and helps ensure that every decision contributes to the overall result.

Depending on the project, I can also take care of sourcing materials and furniture, coordinate with contractors and other specialists, and remain involved throughout the renovation. This allows us to protect the design and make sure the finished interior feels right down to the smallest detail.

Meeting & Intake

We begin with an informal, no-obligation meeting to discuss your wishes, the way you live and the possibilities for your home. We also look at the scope of the project and how I can best support you throughout the design and renovation process.

Sketch Design

A mood board and the first design sketches establish the overall direction of the interior. Together, we explore the atmosphere, colours, materials and layout, creating a clear foundation for the rest of the design.

Concept Design

During this stage, the design is developed in greater detail. The floor plans are refined and I prepare the lighting and electrical plans, as well as designs for the kitchen and bespoke joinery. Where relevant, initial quotations are requested to provide a clearer overview of the expected costs.

Final Design

All drawings, materials, finishes, furniture and other design choices are finalised so that the renovation can begin. If required, I can arrange the purchasing and delivery of materials and furniture and coordinate with the contractors during the renovation. By staying involved, I help ensure that the design is carried through carefully and that everything comes together as intended.
